Ecuador Best Treks (Departs June 2020)

This Expedition- Condor Trek is one of  Ecuador´s Best Treks, MArked in the top 20 Best treks in the world by the National Geographic, it takes you across Antisana National park to Cotopaxi, it takes 4-5 days camping in the highlands.

Ecuador also was part of the Inca empire, for 500 years, this trail is still transitable, and it takes us to the Inca Ruins of Inga Pirca, this is a 3-day trek on the Sangay National park

El Altar is one of the most beautiful treks in Ecuador, definitely an off the beaten track treks, most people don’t know about.

Welcoming in Airport – Transfer to Hotel

Morning briefing with all the team and participants – City tour of Quito and Mitad del Mundo

Transfer to the northern side of Antisana Reserve, we start the trek from El Tablon – 6-7 hours trek to Laguna del Volcan where our first camp is set

Enjoy a full day trek of the Quilotoa Loop, this is Ecuador´smost visited crater lake – the trek takes about 4 hours , right after this we will head to the Andes central city of Riobamba

After breakfast we take a ride for 2-3 hours to Acchupallas where the inca trail starts, this day we trek for about 5 hours to cuchicorral where our first night of camping is located.

We start the trek right after breakfast and walk in the Sangay National Park for about 6-7 hours to Paredones, located, next to the Culebrillas lake.

The last day we start the walk after 8 am, to end in the inca ruins of Inga Pirca – after guided visit to the ruins, we have lunch and return north to Alausi, for the Train ride the next day.

Known as the most difficult train in the world,  this is a bucket-list activity for Ecuador.

We depart to Bocatoma at 7 am, check on gear and start the Trek in Altar, one of the least explored places of the Sangay National Park – First night near Italian Camp

Trek to Mandur, and visit to the base of Glacier in Altar, we also visit and see star lake – green lake – blue lagoon

Trek back to Bocatoma – Transfer back to Riobamba – End of Tour
